The goal I needed to done this year is to do the best to get into NTU, I know this goal is a little hard, but I am a fantast who has lots of dreams for me to accomplish, this goal maybe just a foundation stone in my life, so I really want to reach it.

This is the things I want to do this year:

1. Take good care of myself. I don’t want to take a sick when I am studying or having a test.

2. Make a great decision to stop watching any TV show.

3. Stay calm when doing anything.

4. Take defeat well, and make some improvement later.

5. Be humbler

Maria Sharapova just won her third Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Sharapova is a very impregnable tennis player; you can see a immersed expression in her eyes when she is playing games, and the yell she shouted when hitting balls is terrific!

This is the speech after she won the Australian Open. The speech is very touching and humble that you won’t recognize she just won an incredible title! One of the important tips to stand on the stage of success is to be humble; I think Sharapova has done the good job, she will sure to win more titles if she keeps in this summit.

After the breathtaking emergency on the street, Nat Marley, an investigator’s brave behavior has been put on the Daily News. And then, lots of strange situations came through. Strangely, all of them were in connection with an old lady’s letter what Nat received!

After that, Nat and his personal assistant, Stella visited the old lady, Mrs. Joanna Whittaker writing Nat the letter and is lived in an expensive house. They then felt weird when seeing the Martha, who served Mrs. Whittaker and seems not been good with her master. Mrs. Whittaker wants Nat to have a special service for her,to find a lawyer. But she seemed a little muddled that she thought Nat is her died husband!

The global warming sure has affected the world in recent decades; we can saw many cases that show the consequences of what people have done to the globe. Because of the higher temperature, the cherry blossoms in Japan bloom earlier. The plants and animals in many places are also victims of the climate change.

If you don’t think these indications are serious, then you are really innocent! The island Tuvalu in the Pacific Ocean is now gradually submersed. Maybe there will not be enough land for people to live on someday, and maybe we will have to live on the ocean some decades later.

Cooking is a very important skill if we want to have a comfortable life. If we don’t know how to cook and therefore we have to buy the food outside, the life will be inconvenient and in poor health.

Most people don’t consider cooking a very important skill because they can buy anything they want to eat on the street. It causes the increasing of obesity rate these years. Even the ancients can cook without a supermarket that provides everything you need, so don’t you think it is a little shamed if a civilized person doesn’t know how to cook?
I think this compulsory education in the UK is necessary if their government doesn’t want all of the masses in UK become fat and ill. Weather boys or not, I think they should know how to cook even just a simple food in this class because they don

’t know if they will find a good girl who will cook for him. Worst of all, maybe both of them don’t know how to cook! Learning cooking in school is more propriety than in a society. And the obesity rate can be controlled if people eat healthful when they still in a good figure.

My Chinese name is Chang, ya-ching. If you ask me what I think of my name, I would say this name is very special because it maybe signifies that my parents want me to have a bright life and be a graceful and optimistic girl. Actually, the first character, ya, was form a fortuneteller. How about those grate meaning what I thought? Maybe it’s just a beautiful coincidence.

About my family

My family is composed of four people: my father, mother, my older brother and me. This is a very harmonious, warm and humorous family. My father is a policeman, but he is not as harsh as some other policemen. Actually he is cute, always taking good care of us and working hard to support our family. My mother is just like my good friend; we always go shopping, chatting together. My brother is very smart and rational; he always comforts me when I am sad or quarreled with my parents.
